is cent os 6.9 supported by commvault?

Recently have come across a case where backup needs to be taken of a linux server hosting erp db on it with OS as Cent OS 6.9.

As a compliance, it needs to be kept for next 3 years.

I am not able to find documentation where Cent OS 6.9 is compatible and we can take backup of it.
