MariaDB backup , how does commvault take the mariadb backup?
mysql agent installed on the server.

MySQL backups leverage mysqldump utility for the backups.

Could you elaborate on the encryption used on MySQL DB ?

DBA used the AWS KMS Key to encyrpt the mariadb, after which a new schema got added ‘#mysql50#.aws’, backups started to fail due to name error  probably as it has special characters, does this have to be backed up?? if so how can we include them in backup, if the schema cannot be renamed

Could you attach MySqlBackupChild.log from the mysql server or open a support incident to have this reviewed. Im suspecting the backup user access issue on that database.
