Oracle RAC nodes not handling single node outage

HI @Emils 

I am facing same issue with oracle rac agent - where we have three node cluster for a database, if one node is down, the rac agent is not taking the available node for the backup. is there any config need to be changed?

Can you confirm that you don’t have failover disabled?

Hi @Mike Struening , Yes it is not disabled. as a work around i am replacing the unavailable node with the available one manually and then it was able to continue the backup, but still it isn't taking the available node while any node is down :(
