Hi Team,

We have daily schedule for SQL restore and some times  SQL restoration job is going to pending state with below error. Could you please help on this.

 

Query Result lMicrosoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ExecutionFailureException:A previous restore operation was interrupted and did not complete processing on file 'ENDR_MSS_DATA'. Either restore the backup set that was interrupted or restart the restore sequence. Problems were identified while planning for the RESTORE statement. Previous messages provide details. RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally. An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.].

Hello @Tyson Storage Team 

If you right click the Restore Job > View > Logs, search for CVD.log from the MediaAgent performing the restore. Do you see any errors in that log about not being able to read the data?
