Hi @Onno van den Berg As in, can we export the pages for offline review? If so, then we have the option to export a page (or pages) to pdf in the top right corner. If wanting to export multiple pages, you can select the ‘PDF more pages’ option > you then have to select each individual page you want included in the export. I’ve raised a change request so that when we select the ‘top’ page, all subpages are selected by default as most people (in my opinion) are going to want to simply export all pages associated to a topic rather than bits and pieces. If i’ve misunderstood please let me know what you’re after and I’ll see what I can do.
Hi @COE-GT We certainly do, you can refer to: https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=3002_3.htm which highights the versions of SQL we support (as of feature release 20).I’d suggest ensuring that auto-close is disabled however otherwise you may encounter failures when we attempt to backup the databases.Refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/policy-based-management/set-the-auto-close-database-option-to-off?view=sql-server-ver15Hopefully this helps.
Hi @euMike!Hope you have had a nice week and great question! Confirming we have a project being worked on to provide stand alone exchange agent support via the Command Center. You can quote CMR# 230749 to your account manager who can provide you with updates on it’s progress (reviewing it just now, it’s still being worked on - release date TBC). As for how we handle the situation - well, from a support perspective, we’re of course happy to provide verbal or visual guidance/instructions on how to configure via the Java Console - e.g. for exchange stand alone, the steps are outlined here:https://documentation.commvault.com/11.22/expert/17011_getting_started_with_exchange_database_agent.html https://documentation.commvault.com/11.22/expert/96503_add_exchange_database_agent.html https://documentation.commvault.com/11.22/expert/17051_creating_user_defined_subclients.htmlI understand that there will definitely be frustration for some customers who have limited knowledge of the original JAVA c
Hi @Michael Woodward Hope you had a nice weekend! I do not believe this is presently possible (at least not with my account either). My recommendations would be to:Go to the cloud.commvault.com site Top right there is a ‘Help’ option Select this and then select ‘Contact Us’ You then have the capability to leave your details and question(s) I would list the CCIDs that you would like to have removed from your profile + ask for clarification if this is something you can do yourself What does this do you say?… Great Question! This will notify our cloud services team directly who can confirm either the process you can follow to disassociate CCIDs or they will do it for you. Please let me know how you get on or if this helps.
Hey @Bart! thanks for the post. In researching, we have a few cases where if User Account Control is enabled, that User Account Control will significantly slow down the Plug-in's ability. On one of these machines that has the plugin installed, please attempt to disabled UAC by setting this in the registry. Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System Key: EnableLUA Value: 0 You will need to reboot this machine. Instead of disabling UAC you can also try running SQL Management Studio as an Administrator and accept the UAC prompt. Please attempt the plugin afterwards, and let me know the speeds. Running SSMS as Administrator and that was indeed a lot faster. Disabling UAC is of course a very difficult one. Isn’t there a root cause solution for this? Hi Bart, When you right-click on a file or program and choose "Run as administrator," that process (and only that process) is started with an administrator token, thus providing hig
No worries! Happy to help!
Hello Philipp! We have the ability to auto discover users (similar to mailbox) for OneDrive, we do however prefer that customers use the Command Center Console rather than the Java Console as it includes several benefits including automation for subclient creation - the Java Console provides the capability however it is much more labour intensive. Could you please confirm for me what version and feature release you currently have deployed? Command Center: Instructions for enabling auto discovery: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.22/essential/93473_enabling_autodiscovery_of_user_accounts_for_onedrive_for_business.htmlCommand Center: Instructions for configuring AD discovery: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.22/essential/93697_autodiscovering_user_accounts_for_onedrive_for_business_using_azure_affinity_groups.htmlIn order for you to review the Java Console instructions, you must sign into BOL and refer to the ‘expert’ instructions as per:Java GUI: Configuring Auto Discovery
