Is there a mechanism to leave feedback for the standard Commvault website (www.commvault.com)?
No idea. I would just post your feedback on the community ;-)
Sure, Here goes:
In page links don't seem to work:
Compliance - “Learn More”
Security - “Learn More”
Privacy - “Learn More”
Links to External / Pre-Prod URLs:
"Privacy Policy" (*2) links to a "https://commvault-new-preprod.go-vip.net" based url
"Data Processing Agreement" (*3) links to a "https://commvault-new-preprod.go-vip.net" based url
"Master Terms & Conditions" links to a "https://commvault-new-preprod.go-vip.net" based url
"GDPR compliance" links to a "https://commvault-new-preprod.go-vip.net" based url
VPAT 2.0 "Learn more" links to a "https://commvault-new-preprod.go-vip.net" based url
"Shared Responsibility Model" links to a "https://cloud.kapostcontent.net" based url
Outdated Links:
The "What security certifications do you have" FAQ links to the 2022E Expert page, but probably should link to the non-versioned essential page: "https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/essential/certifications_and_compliance.html"
Redundant / Non-Useful Links:
The "TO REPORT VULNERABILITIES, PLEASE VISIT OUR DOCUMENTATION SITE" links to the deprecated "Security Vulnerability and Reporting" page, which links to the new "Commvault Security Advisory" page, which also doesn't include a reporting link. Given that this link is directly under the "How do I report a security vulnerability" section (which includes an appropriate link) isn't it redundant?
Thanks
Thanks
I can see most of those have been fixed. There are still a few links in the FAQ section pointing to the pre-prod domain, though:
Does Commvault have access to customer data?
Master Terms & Conditions
Data Processing Agreement
How can I receive updates regarding my product's sub-processors?
"please refer to our Data Processing Agreement found here"
I have more questions on security, privacy, and compliance. How can I get in touch?
"Commvault's support team here"
"Please visit our Contact us page"
Thanks
Hi
The following KB Article hasn’t been updated since 2014, and could do with a refresh to bring it in line with current methodologies / wording (as per here): How are Encryption Keys derived and maintained? (commvault.com)
Thank you
Thanks
