Hello Commvault Team,I have a question regarding the operating system support matrix in Commvault 11.46.The Linux File System Agent System Requirements document lists support for:Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 Oracle Linux 10However, Rocky Linux 10 and AlmaLinux 10 are not listed.At the same time, the 1-Touch and Virtualize Me for Linux System Requirements document includes support for AlmaLinux 10 (and Rocky Linux 10).This seems inconsistent, so I would appreciate some clarification.Could you please help answer the following questions?Why are Rocky Linux 10 and AlmaLinux 10 supported for 1-Touch but not for the Linux File System Agent? Is this an intentional support policy or simply a documentation difference? Are Rocky Linux 10 and AlmaLinux 10 currently under validation for the Linux File System Agent? As often, Arlie can't answer my question. The first response is always very confident, but when I ask for documentation, links, or other supporting information, it backs down and ultimately tells me to contact Commvault Support or my Commvault account representative.And Commvault Support has become pretty good at simply forwarding Arlie's answers, so I think the quickest way to get a real answer is to ask here.We need to backup Atlassian Jira. I see Commvault SaaS has a solution for this.But what if I want to back it up on-premisses. Is this possible?Arlie says no problem, simular as Saas, but cannot provide me more info than that.So, my question, can we? And if so, can I find this information and configuation guide online?

Dears,I have a vCenter environment, and I created a Red Hat 8 virtual machine to be used as a VSA proxy.I installed the Virtual Server package and the File System package successfully.However, after completing the installation, this node does not appear as an Access Node in the Virtualization configuration.Kindly advise why this is happening.Note: I am currently using a trial license.

We are running CommVault version 11.40.30 with Hyperscale and AGP. We would like to confirm whether individual virtual machine files can be backed up and restored at granular file level. If so, what is the most efficient method to locate and restore internal VM files (for example, AppRecovery_ver2_2025.pdf) directly, rather than restoring the entire VM and searching for the file post-restore?Does achieving this required activation of a feature, as a requirement to utilizes such feature? IF yes please for your kind guidelines.

Hello,We are testing Two-Factor Authentication on Commvault Platform Release 11.36.83.Configuration:- Two-Factor Authentication enabled at CommCell level- Microsoft Authenticator configured and tested successfully for local admin user- Email based OTP working correctly- Windows Integrated Authentication enabled for domain users Test scenario:1. Email OTP enabled → Login via CommCell Console works (password + TOTP appended)2. Email OTP disabled (enabled "Do not send email with PIN for two-factor authentication")3. Attempt login via CommCell Console using:   password + current TOTP code (Microsoft Authenticator)Result:Login fails with "Invalid username/password"Questions:Is Microsoft Authenticator (TOTP) supported as the only second factor for CommCell Console login, without email based OTP enabled Is email based OTP required for CommCell Console login? Hi, I’m trying to do a BMR on a windows server, but 1-touch can only find the network card in slot1. the connections on slot1 is on a management network that can’t reach the commvault server. We have nic in slot6 (Broadcom BCM5741x) that reach the commcell. I have added the drivers for this card, but slot6 doesn’t shows up when I boot 1-touch.Anyone that have a clue on what to do here?BR, Tony

I have an Oracle 12.1 environment and need to keep the archive logs for 24 hours. I tried multiple configurations:Subclients (Default and ArchiveLog): Tested with “Archive Delete” enabled and disabled. Schedule: Tried “Delete Archive Log” with: Older than 1 day and Backed up 2 times. Also tested with these options disabled. Results: The only change occurred when using Older than 1 day and Backed up 2 times, which added the following line:delete noprompt archivelog until time = 'sysdate-1' backed up 2 times to sbt;However, the line:(archivelog all delete input);remains in the script, and I don’t know how to remove it.I will try a custom script, but I prefer a Commvault solution. During my research, I found a possible approach using three subclients:Default: Full backup + archive logs without deleting. Archivelogs: Hourly backups of archive logs without deleting. DeleteArchive: Daily deletion of archive logs.For now, this option is not possible because even with every delete flag disabl
