How to register and log in (Commvault Community)

Welcome to the community!

If you are a current Commvault customer or partner, sign in using your Commvault Support PortalCloud Services, or Partner Advantage credentials.  (See below for details or if you have questions about obtaining these credentials.)

If you are a Metallic customer, follow the instructions below to log in, and you’ll find introductory and how-to content for Metallic in this section.

Commvault staff can also sign in and participate via SSO.

Once you are logged in, the possibilities are endless. (Well, almost.)  You can start and join conversations, complete your profile, and access content exclusively available to customers and partners!

It’s easy. Just click the “login” button in the upper right corner to go to the log in page.

Commvault customers

The Commvault Support Portal (formerly Maintenance Advantage) is your hub for Commvault Support, security updates, and advice.  To access the Portal, your organization must have a current maintenance agreement {Standard, Premium or Enterprise Success Program (ESP)} and you must be a designated contact for your organization. If you meet these requirements but you do not currently have a Portal login and password, please email Commvault Support and provide your CommCell®️ ID along with your contact information. We will notify you via email of your login and password.

CloudThe Commvault Cloud Services Portal provides a suite of solutions for managing and monitoring your data. To access Cloud Services, you can either register using an authorization code or register with details about your CommCell (V10 or V11).  If you need assistance, as above, please email Commvault Support and provide your CommCell ID along with your contact information and we will notify you via email.


Metallic customers

Sign in to the Metallic Hub using your login credentials. To access the Community, navigate to the bottom of the Hub and select the Community tile. Then select “Metallic User” when you are prompted to select your profile type. If you need help to obtain your credentials, select the “Forgot Password” on 



Partner Advantage: If you are a registered partner but do not yet have a Partner Advantage account, you can register for one here.
