our security team ask me if its possible to install the trend micro av software on the frel. We used the ova template from comvmault.
If its okay to install the av agent are the normal excludes for an mediaagent under linux enough or did we need more excludes ?

AV exclusions should be implemented on all Commvault servers. Below you can find our documentation that outlines what needs to be excluded.

It is supported. A FREL is just a Client with File System, Virtual Server and Media Agent Agents installed, so just make sure you add the exclusions.

We did not specify which Client, but you can check the specific path on Windows and find them on your Linux FREL:

I see, you can provide a feedback, but most processes are the same on WFS & Unix.
