I would like to know what is the difference between configuring a backupset to collect the following content:

/*
/.
Which of the 3 options should backup the entire server?
What does each of these options collect?
Content settings in backupset / /* /. ?

Hi
If you need to backup entire server, the content should simplay be “/”
- / = Backup everything
- /* = Backup everything at the root level. It will not backup nested files & folders
