Hi teams,

I would like to know if it is possible to segment a restore job over several days ?
If yes , how to do that ?

There is no options to segment  jobs.

Just to confirm, what is iDA and the purpose please?

Hi seb,

 

we want to restore 5 To of data of place environnement; So we want to restore it to minimize the impact of bandwith on the network.

We want to schediule this on the morning when backup are done and not on prductions hours.

ok and this is File System iDA?

I am not sure how this is configured and backed up, maybe you can restore Disk per Disk, if not, Folder per Folder?

However the best would be to use Throtting:

This sounds like you want to keep two filesystems in sync.

If that is the why use Commvault specifically? something like rsync might be a better solution.

 

If commVault must be used then perhaps you are better suited to using File System replication.
