MySQL Backup Failing in Commvault

Hi Team,

 

I have facing some issue in our infra, While try to take the backup of one Mysql Databse server

we are getting below error

Current Commvault version which we are using:11.28.32

Error Description:

Backup of [DBname] MySQL database failed. The error message [mysqldump: Couldn’t execute ‘SHOW FIELDS FROM ‘visitor_cars_child_view2:View ‘DB name.visitor_cars_child_view2’

references invalid table(s) or column(s) or function (s) or definer/invoker of view lack rights to use them(1356)] is received during backup.

 

Could you please help on this above case

Hi @Adarsh.op 

This is returned by mysqldump process. Did you check if the MySQL user you are using has required access on the DB?

To isolate the issue, you can run mysqldump outside Commvault using the same user login.
