Hello @Robert.R

The below line indicates that there is connectivity issue when source ma and destination ma are communicating.

Please check connectivity between Source MA [media Agent] and Destination MA [dmedia Agent].

Has this aux copy worked previously?

Was the port connectivity checked?

Is there a firewall; firewall config needs to be adjusted in CV config, was this done?

We are using Hyperscale node as media server and it is newly build infrastructure. First Auxcopy of small amount of size it was completed. With same media agents. But after that it was failed and there is no changes.

Source and Destination is same node and checked the ports 8400/8403/8401 there is port blocking vice versa.

Hello @Robert.R

Could you attempt to change the destination of the auxcopy (for testing it) and run the aux copy?

First Auxcopy that completed successfully - Did it transfer any data across?

Hello Zubair

Apologize for delay reply.

It got fixed. The issue is USB encryption key after changed the key copy was running fine.

Action taken:

  1. Tested the hardware using LLT tool no error found
  2. Using CV tape tool created the small file to read and write
  3. Reading was passed but while writing got error “Write Protected.

Conclusion: We noticed that the first copy was without usb key post installed the encryption copy is not written so we raised the vendor case to replace the key now copy is working fine.

Regards,

Robert
