Hello Community,

 

How do I get started with automation on commvault?

What are the pre-requisites and basics steps to installation?

For those using Ansible to autmoate on commvault is this preferable than performing operation directly from the commcell console?

Hi @uchenna kanu  -- please let me know if the ansible modules are present for metallic.io also. we want to explore metallic.io for backup solution hence checking for any ansible modules present for the metallic.io.

 

Please send me the document reference or any whitepapers, blogs etc will also help.

@Narendra Thapa The ansible modules should work on both Metallic and you own environment as both shares the same code base. Commvault is also merging both worlds together thereby creating one holistic platform that cover both words with a single API.
