@Murugan Chandrasekaran , might be better for us to split your question into another thread, though let’s see how far we can get for now :sunglasses:

I’m assuming you already have a copy of the report and just need to add the right columns?

This view has everything you need:

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/5524_commcellbackupinfo.html

You just need to edit your copy/custom report and add those columns in.

This article shows you how to create a report if you are starting from scratch:

@Murugan Chandrasekaran , have you checked out this view?

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/5524_commcellbackupinfo.html

There are a large number of views that contain this type of data.

Hi @Mike Struening, Thanks for your update.

Yes, i want to add 3 column in the existing backup summary job report with Start time, end time and duration.

I am not expert in creating queries, if possible can you please share the query and instruction so that i can try it. thanks!

It’s easier than it looks.

All you need to do is start a new custom report (well written instructions are here:

and when you add in the fields, use this view:https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/5524_commcellbackupinfo.html

All you need to do is add the fields you want and sort them.  If you’re not too confident, follow the instructions EXACTLY like the first link/article to get your feet wet.  Next, try it again with other views (the one I linked).
