Hello everyone,

We have had a problem with Exchange Backup since today because of the EWS error (see image below). We have already re-entered the credentials for the service account, but unfortunately that didn't help. Does anyone have a useful tip on what to do in this case?

We have re-entered the credentials for the service-account at Commvault Exchange Client (see below)

hello @Eugen

Did you check the connectivity between the Access nodes and EWS?

Also, verify if there have been any changes or modifications to the EWS, like the example below.

check this article

Hi,

I still get following error (see picture below).

I have also disabled the EWS Feature, but I still get the same error. Can anybody help me with this issue?

the error code from the job look like following:

check: EWS Server Connectivity Result: Failed Failure: Unable to connect Exchange Server. Exchange EWS URL [https://owa.name of the host.de/EWS/Exchange.asmx] is not accessible using service account [administrator@companyname.de]. Reason: The request failed. Der Remoteserver hat einen Fehler zurückgegeben: (401) Nicht autorisiert. Please verify connectivity.  check: EWS Server Connectivity Result: Failed Failure: Session(s) failed for all On-Premise Service Accounts. Please re-check the credentials (or) re-check server connectivity

does anybode know the answer for the issue? We have checked the account and logedin into EWS and everything worked fine, but commvault still write back, that the issue service account still there.

Hi @Eugen .this is known error with Exchange check readiness internal defect is present for engineering team to address this, but it won’t be having any impact on backup.
