Question

Hardware Refresh - Replace MediaAgent (app) - Commvault version. (11.28.91)

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hi Support Team

Has anyone encountered and resolved an issue where, after replacing a MediaAgent using the app, the new MediaAgent does not appear in the Storage Policy's primary copy? I'm unsure how to fix this and add the new MediaAgent to the primary copy. (The Jobs for replace mediagent showing all completed)

Best Regards

Tai Nguyen

Hi @Tai Nguyen ,

You also try to run DB Maintenance workflow

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Workflows.

  2. Right-click DBMaintenance and then click All Tasks > Execute.

  3. From the Run workflow on list, select the workflow engine and enter a value for the type input.

For information on the type options, see Performing CommServe Database Maintenance Using the DBMaintenance Utility.

  4. Click OK.

You can track the progress of the workflow job from the Job Controller.

If that also does not help, then we may have to investigate CSDB, would request to you please raise an incident and upload CSDB , logs for CS and MA.

Regards,

Suleman

Hi Suleman,

Thank you for your advice. I’ll do the DBMaintenance and see how it goes!
