Hello,

i need to add 1 more Mount Path to the existing library, does anyone have a procedure or the link in the Commvault, the SAN and Storage(LUNs) configuratin part has already been done, it remains to add, need best practices, example: Use Round Robin, etc.

Best Regards

Hi @Fernando Souza

Adding a mount path is simple, steps here: Disk Libraries - Advanced (commvault.com) (Add Additional Mount Path)

After that you can validate the following and ensure they meet your requirements:

  • Config of the library for the “Mount Path Usage” (spill and fill) and “Mount Path Allocation Policy” (maximum allowed writers).
  • “Data Paths” tab and “Data Path Configuration” tab (round robin for load balance) of the Storage Policy Copies pointing to this Library.

Best Regards,

Michael
