Cannot download Virtual Appliance of CV Software with 11.36...

Hi All,

I cannot download the appliance VMWare Windows Image of Commvault Software with 11.36. It has Restricted Access. When I try, I get the message : Contact your software provider for access to this package.

I have already used the download manager for 11.36. I don't understand why this appliance has restricted access. 

How can I download it knowing that I have several POCs waiting…

Hello Keshika,

I am able to download the Commvault Media Kit 11.36 through the request (using the download manager from my laptop). From the Commvault Customer Support Portal: Request Latest Media Kit.

Submit a request to download the latest media kit for the Commvault software.

 

The OVA was on the Commvault Store, and I tried to download it from the store. But this morning, I notice that it no longer appears in version 11.36…

Do we have to wait after November 15th?

This release is not yet a long-term support (LTS) release. This means Commvault will continue to improve 2024E release features, including customer experience enhancements. CPR 2024E will become an LTS release after November 15th by our standard release cadence. After the November 15th release (11.36), LTS release availability will follow the regular schedule.

 

Do you have any info on that?
