hope everyone if good 

 

i have a very strange issue while installing the client in server it get failed to download binaries from package commvault file system core i have also the log attached herewith. please help to get out of this i have done this ot backup my core server. but unable to install client. 

Can you access https://downloadcenter.commvault.com/ from the Client?

I even cannot access  https://downloadcenter.commvault.com/  from my PC. I have attached the error while clicking this site. but the client software which i am not able to install same client software i can install in my pc and client other pc also. Only client specific server have the issue during installation client windows server 2012 r2 was last updated in 2018 is this causing issue? need latest update required?


That error message is accurate.  That’s not a full URL, just the domain name, so the error message is coming from the web server.  You’re able to reach the site fine.  If you try to reach that site from the server, do you get the same message?

OK, you appear to have connectivity to the download site.  That was a low hanging fruit suggestion.  You may want to open a support case so they can investigate further.
