Hi All,

 

Refer subclient CvFailoverLogShipping, I try create aux copy to DR disk or tape library and it will not copy.

 

  • is the “CvFailoverLogShipping” just for schedule transfer SQL DB and log for backup and restore to standby Commserve only and it did not require keep long retention or offsite?

 

  • if it did not require keep long retention, because it will use disk space, could setup short retention day? e.g. 1 day, any suggestion?

Hello @Chinchilla 

The Log backup is by default not going to be aux copied over and will follow the retention of the SP you set for it. You can change this here:  

Control Panel » Commserv LiveSync » down the bottom. 

If you change the SP that is in use to a different one with lower retention it will  keep less of them.

This wont impact the Full DR backup that are run and should be Aux copied where ever you have set them to go.
