Currently we are backing MongoDB up using Mongo IData Agent with Big Data. We are using the LVM option but are wanting to use the SAN Snapshots.

 

Would we need to setup the Mongo Database to used the SAN Based Snapshots. To enable this would we need to install Mongo DB on a  NPIV based LUN. Is there any documentation on how we would configure this.
