Hi All,

- disk library DL1 with mount path X:\DL1

- mount path X:\DL1 Capacity 100TB with Allocation Policy - Space Allocation "Do not consume more than 50TB"

Q1. refer above, may we know Space Management - Space Thresholds refer which value for calculate %? 100TB or 50TB

Q2. if Space Management - Start aging when data occupied on disk is 80%, will aging never start if refer value 100TB?

Best regards

Hello @Chinchilla

The feature’s you are talking about i do not think effect each other.

The space thresholds and when to start aging data is based on the total % available in the disk, not what is usable for writes based on your allocation policy.

I recommend setting your % thresholds to the relative amount you expect to be used. in the above example that would be 35 or 40%.

Kind regards
