Hi,
When I install Commvault on hyperscale, part of my screen is cut off. Do you know of a solution?

The effect is the same whether I use H5Viewer or JViewer. Zooming in or out doesn't help either. Just to add, everything was OK in the command line of Rocky Linux itself before running the installation.

Hi @Patryk,

Try changing the resolution of the screen to see if it help in resizing the window.

Hi @Patryk ,

We recommend restarting the IIS and Tomcat services on the Web Server machine, followed by verifying the functionality using an alternate browser to rule out any browser-specific issues.

If the issue persists after performing the below steps, we suggest logging a support case for further

1. Try to disable browser extension if there is one.

2. Use Incognito/Private Mode and verify the browser page.

3.Clear Cache and Cookies.

I am trying to install Commvault on a PRIMERGY RX2540 M7 device. I have rebooted it, but the effect is the same. I cannot find an option to change the resolution.

I have used Firefox and Edge, and I have installed Chrome for testing purposes. I checked in private mode. I also cleared the cache. The effect remained the same. I do not use any plugins/extensions on browsers I do not use.

You can see below as I exit the installer the view is ok

Thanks for the tips. I will create support ticket.

Hi Patryk

Did you get any feedback from Commvault

Hello,

I have opened a case with both Commvault and Fujitsu. We verified that the resolution could be changed and that using VNC would be OK. Unfortunately, this did not help.

The resolution 'fixed' itself when we connected the monitor directly to the server. This was the case no matter what type of ‘remote session’ I used like HTML5 Viewer or Java. The screen displayed normally.

We decided that a monitor would be connected for the whole setup process so that the whole installation screen could be viewed.

Thanks for quick reply , so you connect the monitor directly to the server , this is solve the issue

unfortunately , i do this installation remotely , so i need someone goto data center and connect the screen

anyway thanks for replay

Unfortunately, I asked a colleague who works at the location to try connecting the monitor. Together with the support team, I could not find another solution.
