We’re excited to share an early look at the next generation of Commvault Documentation, introduced at this year’s Commvault SHIFT event. The update includes a refreshed visual design, easier navigation, and a new unified documentation site called the Commvault User Guide.
What’s New
A cleaner, more consistent design
The new site looks and feels more like Commvault’s products. You can switch between light and dark modes to match your environment, and the updated layout makes it easier to read and explore.

Commvault User Guide
The Commvault User Guide brings together documentation for both our Software and SaaS offerings in one place. For now, it’s a preview of what’s coming. Over the next year, we will expand and refine it until it becomes the single home for all Commvault documentation.
Existing Sites
During this transition, the existing SaaS and Software documentation sites will stay live, and we will continue to update them for new features and fixes. The only changes you'll see today are the visual enhancements. We'll only retire those sites once the Commvault User Guide includes complete and up-to-date content for all products.
More ways to learn
You’ll also find more videos and new Readiverse tutorials throughout our documentation. These resources provide short lessons and guided examples to help you get more from Commvault, whether you’re new to the platform or an experienced user.
What’s Next
Over the next year, the Documentation Team will continue building out the Commvault User Guide and improving how content is organized and delivered. Our goal is to make information easier to find, understand, and apply across every Commvault product.
Share Your Feedback
We invite you to explore the new site and tell us what you think. Your feedback helps us make documentation more useful for everyone in the Commvault community.
