Hi,

I recently gained access to the Partner Portal and I have now completed the SE training on Readiverse.

My next task was going to be to download all the available PowerPoint decks so that I could start building a couple of decks to tell the Commvault story (i.e. intro and deep-dive).

Where can I find the decks?

I am hoping that there are SE decks that go into great detail on each of the main product features (i.e. Core platform, Threat Scan, ThreatWise, Cleanroom Recovery, Air Gap Protect, Security IQ, Identity Resilience, HyperScale X, ...).

Many thanks

Mark

Hi @Mark Burgess,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please let us know the name(s) of the Partner course(s) you’ve completed so we can check whether the relevant resources are available?

In general, Partner courses include presentation decks within the course itself. For some courses, the decks may also be available in the course’s repository if they’re not included directly in the course. These decks are protected and can’t be edited, but they can be used for presentations.

It'd be helpful if you could let us know which specific courses and decks you’re looking for so we can assist you more effectively.

Thank you,

Roy

Hi Roy,

Many thanks for coming back to me.

With my current employer (HPE) and others I have worked with (i.e. NetApp and VMware) they have a resource library for internal staff and partners that would allow me to download customer and technical decks, along with FAQs, etc. as needed. These documents are independent of the training modules provided and as soon as new hardware or software is released the content is updated.

As an example, with NetApp for ONTAP there could be 20 plus deep-dive technical decks that are updated throughout the year as necessary. I can download the materials, along with the customer specific decks and use them to build customer facing messaging, as well as use them for reference materials - this is very powerful.

Similar technical decks must exist within Commvault (along with internal/partner seller FAQs) so as a partner how do I get access to them?

If they are only available from the training modules can I make a suggestion that they are also made available to download directly from the partner portal moving forward.

How do Commvault SEs present the big picture story of Commvault along with the story for individual capabilities (i.e. cyber resilience)?

Best regards

Mark

Hi all - currently this ppt download feature is not available. As you may be aware recently, we have announced the next generation of the Commvault Cloud platform - Commvault Unity. This comes with many enhancements and much of the existing material will be updated. In effort to reduce outdated content from circulating in the partner and alliance community at this time we recommend getting linked up with a local technical resource to obtain access and messaging for the latest and greatest. Please let us know if we can help set up an introduction for you. As Sougato mentions there are also areas in readiverse courses to obtain slides as well although not all would be customer facing. Finally, you mentioned you are with HPE which is a great partnership with so many outcomes available for customers. The lineup of integrations you could leverage is impressive. On the hpe internal site you can also find some commvault architecture and technical decks hosted in HPE format.

Hi,

Once again many thanks for the timely response.

So are we saying for the time being I should download content (PPT/PDF) from the training modules - I can already see there are a lot of resources that can be downloaded, but as you say much of it is out of date (for example the Deployment Learning path has some excellent foundational material, but it is 4 years old! - see below)?

I can also look for further content on the HPE internal portal.

Are you suggesting that when Unity is released that we will see the kind of materials that I am looking for made available on the partner portal, independent of the training modules?

What is the timescale for this?

Also, if there is a contact who can help me, please put me in touch as it would be great to discuss this in more detail and see what else is available in the short-term.

Many thanks

Mark

The services deployment modules have actually been updated as recently as early 2025, that program is also in for a refresh as well. The core deployment hasn’t changed much but the new program will be more in line with how customers are using it today as opposed to getting a foundation up and running. The title of the course should have been updated. The downloads from the ccsp, cctsp and ccpa courses reflect the latest messaging update before the unity launch. I am unsure what level of material will be made available, they are always adding new things to readiverse in different mediums, i would expect most released material will be tied to a learning experience of some kind to support it. On partners.commvault.com there are also “sales plays” which are not technical but often are a good place to find associated materials like briefs, white papers and other supporting docs linked inside.

Many thanks - I will download the materials from the ccsp, cctsp and ccpa courses (as you say they include the messaging prior to Unity)
