Hi Vaulters.

I have a customer that implemented backup replication from prod to DR. Now, they are asking if they can configure their existing DR replica of the backup as their air-gapped copy. Is this possible?

If yes, is there any documentation that we can check to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @RTM

Customers are able to configure the CommserveDR storage policy with additional copies if they wish.

Commserve DR backups are carried out with a local copy first to Export Destination for DR Backups, then optionally to cloud copy and thirdly to backup copies as configured in Storage Policy for DR Backups.

So, if the customer needs to create additional secondary copies for DR backups, these can be added to the CommserveDR storage policy.

Thanks,

Stuart
