Hi,

We disabled the secondary copy but few jobs are showing in “To Be Copied” and “Partially Copied” status in secondary copy but we planning to erase the data in secondary.

My Question is: If I erase the data in secondary dependent copies will be going to erase in primary copy or only data will erase in secondary copy itself?

That depends.

You have retention set on the primary and secondary copy. If your retention has expired on the primary copy, but it is still in a “to be copied” state, then the job well be kept.

If you delete the secondary copy or mark the job as “do not copy”, it will be deleted because it would have met retention and since it does not need to be copied, the job is no longer needed.

So double check your primary copy retention, and ensure that jobs are not just being kept only because they are waiting to be copied.

If the jobs are legitimately still in retention on the primary copy, and you delete the secondary copy, then they will be unaffected.
