Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hello ,

I want to backup teams(chats) in my environment and I looked in the documentation

and I can not understand what does it mean :

The request from my customer is only to backup chats of each user.

also in the documentation I saw that I can not backup personal chats:

it would be great if you can explain it

Thank you very much.

Hello @ariel_b

Personal team chats in FR28 cannot be protected.
In FR34 and above you can protect them but there are some considerations associated to it.
The main reason it was not supported in FR28 is that Microsoft’s API to allow it to be protected is a pay as you use API. So for you to protect your personal chats you will need to enable this and it has a $$ to it.

Hope this answers your question!
NOTE: FR34 is not a LTS support version. If this is not critical for you i would recommend waiting for FR36 to be full released and upgrading from FR28>36 to save you having to do another upgrade so quickly.

Kind regards
