Hello Community,

A customer wants to back up data from CAS (content-addressed storage) like centerra or ECS.

I understanding CAS buckets are accessed by PEA file so commvault need to use same authentication.

In this BOL, seems centerra CAS is supported as backend disk target but no documentation for CAS or centerra as source.

https://documentation.commvault.com/2022e/expert/9505_centera_clusters.html

I want to get the confirmation if this is supported or not. Has anyone done this with commvault?

Good afternoon.  We do not support NDMP for Centerra. If you can present it as CIFS or NFS, we an protect it by backing up the share.
