Cassandra - Does CV clear incremental backup files?

Hi!

 

Here, it is mentioned that you can enable Incremental Backup in Cassandra. However, Cassandra documentation explicitly states that incremental backup files are not automatically cleared.

 

Now, I assume that Commvault will clear the incremental backup files after a successful backup job, but I would like to have confirmation on that. Does CV do that? Documentation makes no reference of it (or I could not find it).

@Patrick Dijkgraaf , confirmed that we do clear up the 'backups' dir contents after an incremental backup.
