change index server Job is in suspend pending.

Hi,

 

I initiated Change index server job for one client(which has big indexDB). The job was running for a long time with no update.I want to suspend and resume. I attempted suspend. Post that the job shows suspend pending. Right click does not show kill option.I tried force suspend but no luck.

 

I tried to use qoperation to kill.It gives the error message the job is in suspend pending and cannot be killed.

 

Please advise how I can kill this job forcefully without recycle of CV services on Commserve.

Have you tried killing the job from the CommCell console? I’ve encountered this issue before in the Command Center.

I already mentioned in description that “Right click does not show kill option.” It shows disabled(not sure why).

The job got killed automatically after a long time.There should be easy method to kill the suspend pending jobs

Some jobs cannot be forced to be killed, so the best way is to contact Support and we will check.
