Changing root password for HyperScale on reference hardware

My company has adopted a new standard for service account passwords:  Min 20 characters, must contain uppercase & lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.  My current password for the root account on the three nodes of the HyperScale on HP reference hardware does not meet the new standard so I have to change it.

Does anyone know how to change to root password on these three servers?  Is it just done via the Linux command prompt or is it done through the CommVault GUI somehow?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Found it.  It is just a Linux password change.

What I posted answers my question but I didn’t find it on my own.  Kudos to my local CommVault technical support Ian Malish that located it for me when Google wasn’t very helpful.  I’ll mark my reply as the answer.
