Hi Community,

Microsoft blocking the assignment of the ApplicationImpersonation role in Exchange Online to accounts starting in September 2024, and that in February 2025, will completely remove this role and its feature set from Exchange Online.

For the Exchange Online - Public Folder Backup is a Impersonation role required. 

So far I have not found anything in the CommVault documentation on how to back up the Public Folders in Exchange Online in the future.
Does anyone have any further information?

Can you link me to where you grabbed that screenshot in the documentation? I looked at the latest version and it appears that requirement has been removed: https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/essential/adding_all_public_folders_to_backup_content_for_exchange_online.html
