Commvault Hyperscale X RA - prevent autostart of services

Question

HelloDoes anyone know how to disable the automatic startup of the Hedvig services after a single node reboot? Disabling the CV services seems straightforward:But will this also prevent the Hedvig services from starting up automatically, or do I need to disable each of them individually?hedvigclogchk.service  hedvigdthrottle.service  hedvigfsc.service   hedvighblock.service hedvighealthcheck.service    hedvighpod.service  hedvigmntcheck.service   hedvigpages.service  hedvigswatch.service     Is there perhaps a cleaner or more efficient way to achieve this? ThanksMichael

Hi Michael,Is there a reason behind wanting to block the CVFS services from starting?If you’re performing maintenance on the nodes, you can manually stop CVFS services for a single node or cluster entirely.Single node:https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/essential/stopping_and_starting_hyperscale_x_node.htmlCluster-wide:https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/essential/stopping_and_starting_hyperscale_x_cluster.htmlRebooting the node will automatically start the CVFS services if these are performed. I may also have to double check whether manually disabling the aforementioned services will be reverted, but I know this is highly discouraged and not something we wish to communicate with customers due to the responsibility involved as well as the repurcussions.
