Commvault upgrade from 11.28 --> 11.36

Hello community,

I am pleased to see that Commvault Platform Release 2024E (11.36) has been released for general availability!

I would like to inquire about the optimal upgrade path from 11.28. Is a direct upgrade to 11.36 feasible, or is it recommended to proceed via 11.32 as an intermediate step?

Thanks for your reply.

I checked the documentation and I understand that is safe to proceed straight from 11.28 → 11.36.

The notes are only mentioned Service Pack 13 and Service Pack 16 and suggest to proceed first to 2022E , right?

hi all, just jumping on this post to ask, are there any changes needed pre or post migration if i am using all Storage Polices rather than Storage Plans ?
