Forum|alt.badge.img+5

Hi James,

Sorry to ask another question. I’m having other issue that I put on hold the configuration of O365. So now I’m trying to get back to it :).

I can configure backup to On-prem storage for O365 rite? any issue or caveat that i need to consider?

regards,

Fauzi

Hi @Fauzi SDS !  Moved this to its own thread for better tracking.

Yup, you can absolutely back up your o365 data to an on prem library if you choose!

Let me know if you have any more questions!

@Fauzi SDS

There are no issues using all on-prem storage/hardware to protect data in O365. Some folks like to leverage access nodes in azure with azure storage library to avoid pulling the data down to onprem but there are a lot of configurations using all local onprem hardware and storage. There are no special considerations in either decision you choose. As long as you meet the hardware requirements you are good to go!
