Hi @commvault11

I noted you’re running 1.5.1 which ships with RHEL 7.9, although this is the latest Distribution supported on Hyperscale 1.5. There are additional packages required to be downloaded and applied before ransomware can be enabled as per the document sent by @Jordan

Packages

For a HyperScale MediaAgent, you must upgrade the operating system to install the following packages:

  • libselinux-python

  • policycoreutils-devel

  • selinux-policy

  • selinux-policy-devel (this is the one seen in your error)

  • selinux-policy-targeted

Hi @commvault11 ,

What version is your RedHat OS running on at the moment?

Please see documentation here: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/126625_system_requirements_for_ransomware_protection.html
