While installing Passive CommServer in LiveSync, Instance001 i.e. Passive CS installation is failing with below error:

 

Can anyone help to understand the issue?

Thanks for the thread!

I found only a few cases with this error, and in both cases the customer uninstalled and reinstalled the agent and it worked (before support had a chance to investigate further).

I’d give that a shot, or call into support to have the issue checked deeply.  Unfortunately, the logging in these issues doesn’t go much deeper on default levels.

Let me check with support to dig into the issue as I am curious on the below error lines in the log.

I would like to know what exactly it means “Failed to generate client password”
