My backups are running at 66 days and only 44 -60 % done. Obviously I cannot continue.  There are a number of articles on slow performance but they are in an area that I am not privileged to see.  There is no errors or events.  The backups are a mix of windows file servers and vms . I am not versed enough with commvault to quickly get to the heart of the matter.

If you’re using the Java interface, open the job details and see if there’s a “Load” entry.  This can help you isolate where there might be a bottleneck in the job.  Read speed, DDB performance, network, etc.

Also, apart from this, there could be other factors involved. Are you also using deduplication?
