Failed - Commserve upgrade 11.28. to 11.32 - DB Main Upgrade phase

I would start by looking this error “cannot insert duplicate key”.

How are you starting this upgrade? Are you logged in the console and selecting the CS there then pushing the upgrade software? I have never “cloned” an entire environment.

On the cloned machine, can you open Windows Explorer and browse the Cache directory and start the upgrade from there, instead of pushing it via CS COnsole?

Also, looking at the forum history, I found the post 

 which is similar to yours. I would look on the logs and find what duplicate entry the logs is reporting then perhaps renaming that as suggested on the post above.

Thank you for the reply.

I am doing a manual install by executing the setup file from the full package downloaded by the download manager.

I have also tried the upgrade from the Cache directory, but the same issue persists.

As per your link, I don’t think it’s an username or password issue because the installation has successfully upgraded the other SQL files except the TM_Task.sql.

When I pointed to the post, I meant for so for you to review the logs and see what the “duplicate entry” was if it actually shows you in the logs.

ah sorry, i can see in the log bellow that CV trying to insert a duplicate key in TM_Task.sql file.
