I’ve seen this error a few times before on MS SQL AGs..

An SQL admin adds a new node, promotes it to be primary, but forgets to have an CVLT SQL IDA installed on it… ;-)

So CVLT errors out due to not having any info about this new primary..

Hi @Abhi.M

Please would you provide a little more info on your request with some background?

The appears to be a database backup agent, please would you provide the client OS and the application or database and version level you’re looking protect.

More information helps with our understanding and will allow more people in the Community to chip and provide some assistance.

Thanks,

Stuart
