Hello,

we have same local users and their password change every 60 days. But They use the same passowrd. How can I Ignore that. We want that they use different passwords after they change it

You can't enforce different passwords between users, but you can enforce strong passwords so they will have to think of a password different then default weak passwords:

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/8091_setting_strength_requirements_for_user_passwords.html

Hope this helps 🙂

Hello Jos,

Thank you for reply. BUt I guess I couldnt tell my problem. I dont want to enfore different passwords between users.

For example my local user’s password :A123! and and when my password expire and when I must change my password I should not use “A123!” again

is it possible?

Ah my apologies, I misunderstood.
Yes you can by using this additional setting:

Hello Jos,

THank you for the link. I have added but it doesnt work,

@ETO , Try opening the link in incognito mode.  I often get that issue due to a bad cache/cookie.

Hello

I have added the addtional settings and I changed the password But I could use the pervious password

Should I restart server or anyth,ng?

@ETO , just to confirm, you set the Additional Setting to TRUE, right?

You may need to cycle CS services to take effect.
