in my enviroment we have many share with more than 10 milions files and directory to backup.
It is normal that in the access nodes the ifind process can consume more than 20 GB of ram ?
There is indication about the relation between number of directories and files and memory usage of ifind ?

The number of files wouldn’t result in more CPU usage, but it would just take longer for the scan phase to run.
What type of backup are you doing? Do you see this behavior all the time or with only certain types of backups? Was utilization lower and has suddenly spiked?
