Question

inclomplete audit trail information for PLANs ??

Forum|alt.badge.img+11

Hi,

when creating PLANs in CommandCenter, I’m not able to verify the parameters used for the backup frequencies entered, in the audit trail report.

If modifying backup frequencies of a PLAN, the modifications done do not show up in the audit trail.

Is there a special setting available/required to make configuration changes done via CommandCenter fully visible in the audit trail ?

(running on 2023e / V11.32.71)

HI @johanningk

Kindly refer below document which talks about operations recorded by the Audit Trail.
I don't find the plan creation parameters part of the recorded list and also modification being part of it.

Will check if this is being updated with any latest version.

Thanks @Pradeep

modification done through the JavaGUI to Storage Policies , Storage Policy Copies, Schedule Policies and Schedules are fully documenented there.
To me, auditing should include a hint about any configurational change in the environment, done through a user interface.

And for me, this also includes RestAPI.

Otherwise I don’t see how this feature / function can be used to track changes (as it is intended to do)

Curious to hear the current standings around the recording of plan modifications and deletions.
