How to add more disk space to the index cache volume. Can some one help and share the steps to perform this task.
We have space crunch and procurred two new SSD’s to increase the space.

The addition of space for index cache would fall under OS Admin responsibilities.
I would recommend checking with your OS admin for this task.
One suggestion although, please review and understand the different RAID types and their effect on IOPS and throughput. RAID 0 would give you highest throughput but no resilience to disk failure. Likewise other RAID types would help with resilience but would have read and/or write penalty. Your OS admin would know about this.
