Hi All,

is it correct that's not possible to backup all file version during OneDrive backup ?

  • You can back up only the latest version of a file from the OneDrive for Business user account. If you back up the same file multiple times, then different versions of that file appear in the Browse window.

In the SharePoint contents it is possible.

To my knowledge, that is correct.  You’d only have multiple versions if you have enough job history to span multiple versions.

hi,

we tested and we see multi version in files:

Hi @SSchmidt

Is this a browse on one backup or a cycle?

If sequential backups have been made and files have been edited between backups then multiple versions will be visible according to the file versions which were present at the time of the backups.

This explains the behavior. When the backup runs it does not protect previous versions however if the file was protected then the next backup has a different version of the same exact file its also protected and noted in the browse as seen by the screenshot.

@SSchmidt  Are you saying your test was the first backup of the file and it shows all versions?
