Hi all,

I have a problem with the functionality of the filters in the views in Jobs - Job history, when I want to filter by Start or End.
When I use the condition "Relative" (1 day), the list of jobs is displayed.
When I use the condition "Between" (yesterday-today), the error "Something went wrong" appears.
When I use the condition "Older than" (anything), "No results found" appears.

There is a similar problem when using the time condition in the view in Protect - Virtualization - Virtual machines.

It behaves the same in 11.40 and 11.42.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a known issue?

Regards,
Lubos

Hi @Lubos Dvorak ,

Request to kindly review command center, webserver.log file while you are trying to apply filter to get more details on the error.

Also, try to restart tomcat and IIS service once and relaunch command center.

Hi @Pradeep,

I also see that when I set a between filter time between 24 hours ago and now (instead of last 1 days), that an error message is shown.

It seems this filter does not work when the end time is the current time. Setting the end time even an hour earlier, wil ensure the filter does work. @Lubos Dvorak I hope this helps you somewhat.

As for the "Older than” filter, I don't have this in my current production environment (11.40.42). If this is deprecated, the filter might not work at all anymore which can cause the empty list.

So, there definitely seems to be a small bug in the filter but there is a workaround for it.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi @Paul G,

Thank you for sharing your findings regarding the between filter. I confirm your results.

Regarding the “Older than” condition I have opened a case.

Kind regards,

Lubos

Hi @Lubos Dvorak,

I am currently experiencing an issue when using date range in browse. It immediately fails and shows the "something went wrong” error.

When creating a case with support, Arlie suggested that this issue is resolved in 11.40.44. I have yet to update our environment but the error seems the same as the filtering issue. There is a good chance our filter issue is resolved when the environment is updated.

I will let you know once we have updated if this resolves this filter issue as well.

Kind regards,

Paul
