Hello all,

Our DBAs are testing a disaster scenario where only Commvault would be available for restore and my question to you is if there is a query i can make to Commvault to give me the last control file backup piece available of a db.

I know you can check this on the job details, but is there a way i can see this from a command line?

Thank you

Kind regards,

João Amaral

Hi @jmiamaral

You may use getbackuplist utility

@Gowri Shankar

Thank you for your fast feedback, i got it to work as i wanted. One more question, is there a way to know the client name from only the instance name?

Kind regards,

João Amaral

@jmiamaral

Dont think its feasible because there could be multiple instance with the same name but running on different clients
