Does Commvault support Sybase DB 12.5.1 agent that will run on a Windows 2003 VM ?

Hey @gary mcneely !  Good question….I’m not seeing anything for 12.5.1 on our docs, so it might be a matter of ‘not supported, but it might work’.

https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11_sp20/article?p=3102_3.htm

I’ll see if I can get someone internal here to advise me or reply directly here.

Conversely, you can always just use the Virtual Server agent to back up the vm, though I’m inquiring for you with our dev team.

Edit: Adding that dev confirmed what I suspected, though added that you may want to try a v10 client (though 12.5.1 wasn’t supported on v10 either).

Thanks!
